Creating a Boys Room...

Boy mums will know, creating a Boys room that is timeless and not just full of tv Characters or Bulldozers is really tough! There are so many girls products out there and honestly the possibilities for a girls room are endless.

Well! I have you covered! Welcome to Arlos Room Reveal.. A boys room perfect for a rad little dude!

The Small Businesses that made this happen!!

We are super grateful to have worked with a number of gorgeous small businesses on this space and some of these stores have graciously offered a discount code for you to shop their range!

Small businesses need you right now! Some small businesses are fighting to stay open when big chain stores replicate their product with cheap materials and sell them for next to nothing. These small businesses work extremely hard to create their products and ensure the best quality and customer service you can possibly get.

How I created my dreamy timeless boys room..

It was important to me to create a room for Arlo that through off colours that are happy and welcoming as opposed to dark and gloomy. I wanted his space to be fun for his age but also something he was able to grow with.

I knew the one thing I wouldn't sacrifice was the Blue Gingham Wallpaper. No matter what, the products had to match the wallpaper not the other way around.

I used Light and Dark Blues, Yellows, Oranges and Browns to bring the space together and give it a surfy, retro kind of vibe.

When I knew what colours I wanted to use in the space, it was as simple as shopping around for product images to include in my mood board.
